  • Chris Eddis - Managing Director

    Chris Eddis

    Prior to establishing Mornington Capital in 1998, Chris Eddis spent the previous twelve years working with investment banks Goldman Sachs and J P Morgan in London, Hong Kong and New York, before establishing the finance arm of a successful property boutique firm in London (now part of Invesco).

    His career consisted of specialization throughout the property, hotel and leisure sector. Chris has been responsible for the structuring and execution of major corporate and project specific finance, mergers and acquisition work and principal investments in the real estate sector in Western and Central Europe, Asia and the Americas.

    Chris holds a first class MA (Hons) degree from Cambridge University in Modern Languages (Spanish, French). Chris is also a board director of Six Senses BVI, an Asian luxury resort, spa and lifestyle company, as well as holding various board positions in connection with investments held.

  • Mark Russell - Director

    Mark Russell

    After receiving a BA in Human Sciences from St Johns College Oxford, Mark commenced employment with architects and surveyors Craig Hall & Rutley in 1991 as a building surveyor, before leaving to join Daniel Smith Surveyors (now Cluttons) for property management and general practice experience.

    Mark joined Mornington Capital in 2000, where he undertook the principal role of new business commercial and risk assessment and analysis. Mark is responsible for commercial assessment of all new business opportunities and of investment risk analysis. Mark is an equity partner of Mornington Capital Ltd.

  • Lizzie Mead - Head of Asset Management

    Lizzie Mead

    Prior to joining Mornington in early 2008, Lizzie Mead spent three years running the operations at JC Construction Management, a developer of high end residential homes in the Hamptons, USA. Previously, she gained experience in the hotel sector working as Executive Assistant to Charles Vere Nicoll, the renowned owner manager of the Hotel St Barth Isle de France in St Barths, French Caribbean. Prior to this, she worked for high net worth entrepreneurs in London. She graduated from the University of Newcastle (UK) with an Honours degree (Combined Studies). Lizzie speaks fluent French.

    Lizzie heads up Asset Management of Mornington’s investments.

  • Richard Wingfield - Equity Partner

    Richard Wingfield has an MA (Hons) from Edinburgh University. An experienced developer and real estate investor in the UK, Richard, a founder and equity partner of Mornington Capital Limited from the outset in 1998, has been more actively involved in the business since 2001.

    Richard brings the skill, focus and patience of an experienced property developer to various of Mornington’s investments.
